That time I smoke a 6+ hour cigar...
I was recently reminded about how I smoked The Woody by Oscar one Christmas eve and posted a bunch of video updates as I went... The whole cigar took a bit over 6 hours to smoke! It was a hell of a journey.
I thought now would be a good time to dig those videos out and do a post about it as previously it was only published to the private Facebook page as a live video.
Lets take a look at what The Woody is:

"The Woody by Oscar is a comical creation to say the least, the cigar duo of Oscar Valladares and Jim "Island Jim" Robinson has brought some interesting and unique concepts to the cigar world. With their first launch of the original LEAF by Oscar cigars in 2014, a cigar wrapped in an additional tobacco leaf for the purpose of added flavor and protection.
Now the Oscar Valladares Tobacco & Co. has continued their interesting concepts with the addition of "The Woody by Oscar" - a 21" x 100 behemoth cigar! And yes, you can actually smoke this 2ft-long bad boy that will keep you puffing for around 4 hours! The Woody by Oscar arrives in a custom-fitted, wooden coffin, containing a single cigar. The blend is 100% Honduran, hailing from Oscar Valladares' own factory in Honduras. The Woody by Oscar are produced in very small batch's and is sure to be a hit at bachelor parties everywhere."
Here it is next to a 6x50 leaf....
The first 2-3 hours were the hardest smoking I have ever had, getting draw through that thing was a pain, until it was down to the size of a big block of big johnny. And overall, it felt alot like a novelty more than an attempt at an actual cigar. but hey, it was a fun way to spend a day!
Here are the videos for those interested (read: can be bothered) in seeing how it went. - There are some serious changes in excitement level as they progress!
